Abstract

This thesis deals with the topic concerned on disaster recovery process design of non-critical services in firm. Non-critical services are these that aren´t directly connected with firm´s business. It deals about matters of personalities or pay accounting. In theoretical part are described steps that are necessary during creation of disaster recovery plan. The methodology is here also described and it is then being used in practical part. Practical part is concerned on specific problem of disaster recovery design of non-critical services in real firm. In the first part ERP functions and its services are described. From this appeared possible areas of disaster. These disasters can arise from its using and contains disaster in infrastructure and mistakes in application branch. These mistakes are assessed in likelihood and impact. Threat is calculated by multiplication likelihood and impact. In next step the specific recovery process of ERP system is designed. Plans of solutions are designed including maximum time of revival, first contacts lists and also possible countermeasures against disaster. Suggested solutions can be implemented and it developed on basis of expert´s experiences in firm. Purpose of this thesis, design recovery process of non-critical services, was fulfilled.
