Abstract

This thesis deals with the quality of the optical signal using wavelength division multiplexing technology in wireless optical system. At the beginning of the work deals with the description of the atmospheric transmission environment, which affect the function of a wireless optical system. Further describes the operation of wavelength division multiplexing in an optical telecommunications system. Furthermore, this work deals with the design OBS using WDM technology environment OptiSystem. Simulation concerned the BER changes according to the weather, a attenuation or turbulence along the route. Part of this work is to evaluate the simulated data, which are then plotted on a graph.
