Strategické směry rozvoje pro město Štramberk

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis called ‘Strategic Direction of Development for the Town Štramberk ‘ is to create socio-economic analysis for this town, formulate SWOT analysis from data collected and based on this analysis select several priority areas of a further development of the town. Theoretical part of the thesis defines regional development and its participants. It further describes strategic management, strategic regional planning and strategic plan. End of the chapter tells us about the strategic plan processing methods and shows us specific processing methods. Practical part of the thesis consists of socio- economic analysis which incorporates basic information about the town and its business activities, social structure and services, infrastructure and environment. Facts and notes collected from this analysis then lead to the SWOT analysis. Final chapter contains town’s vision and priority areas of development which should be dealt with first.
