Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the assessment of the processes of recruitment and selection of employees in a selected organization, Tesco Stores ČR, a.s. The theoretical part explains the concepts of human resources management, personnel activities, recruitment and selection. The practical part of the diploma thesis focuses on the presentation of Tesco Stores ČR, a.s. It monitors the recruitment and selection of employees to describe and assess the processes of recruiting and selecting employees in the selected organization. These assessments are based on an analysis of current processes and a questionnaire survey. Subsequently, recommendations are proposed for their improvement.
