Abstract
This thesis discusses the process of recruitment and selection of employees and the individual procedures that are part of it. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the process of recruitment and selection of employees in a selected company. The evaluation will be accomplished by using research methods, which are the analysis of internal materials, questionnaire survey and structured interview. The obtained knowledge will be evaluated using the methods of analysis, deduction, induction and comparison. Based on the obtained knowledge, propositions and recommendations for improving individual procedures will be formulated. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical section. The theoretical section consists of two chapters. The first chapter defines the individual research methods that will be used. The second chapter defines the theoretical foundations in the field of human resource planning, recruitment and selection of new employees. The practical section consists of three chapters. The first chapter will introduce the selected company. The second chapter will present the results obtained from the questionnaire survey and structured interview. In the third chapter, propositions and recommendations will be formulated that serve to improve individual procedures in the selected company.
