Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement smart device for measuring roof loads and early warning systems. The resulting measurement unit consists of a resistance strain gauge sensor whose analog output is converted to a 24-bit digital value using the HX711 A/D converter, which is further processed in a Raspberry Pi microcomputer. The processed data are supplemented with the current temperature at the strain gauge to check its temperature dependence, and sent to the InfluxDB database. The warning and data monitoring system is then handled by the Chronograph interface. The thesis also includes a research for the use of strain gauge for this type of measurement and a description of the individual phases of development of the mentioned device.
