Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the process of employee education and development. Its goal is, on the basis of information received from the personnel departments of OVAK, Inc. and survey methods, to analyze process of employee education and development in this company and to propose recommendations that improve the process. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the theoretical basis of employee education and development, which has been obtained by studying the technical literature. The practical part deals with the characterization of the organization Ovak, Inc., analysis of Employee Education and Development System, and suggestions and recommendations. Analysis of Employee Education and Development System explains cycle of education system used in the company, also includes evaluation of methods for identification of the training needs and assessing the appropriateness of used evaluate methods. There is also included a survey conducted by a questionnaire distributed among employees. In conclusion of thesis, recommendations that could lead to process improvements are proposed.
