Abstract

This thesis demonstrates the comparison of both rail and road transport in the transport of bulk materials and chemicals. Work performed in more than transports commodities. In rail transport will be compared in term of who has the transport market by Cargo, a.s. In another part of the thesis are the steps necessary for the transporttation itself. Stipulate the conditions benefit or disadvantage of transport by rail, compared to prices in the shorter and longer distances compared to speed and time. For rail and road transport are as chemicals and dangerous goods transported. Therefore it is necessary to ensure environmental protection. The work provils a comparison of rail and road transport in term sof price, speed, reliability and ecology.
