Využití Operačního programu Technologie a aplikace pro konkurenceschopnost na příkladu modelového projektového záměru malého podniku

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the use of European Union funding instruments to support entrepreneurship, specifically within the Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAC). The main objective of the thesis is to assess the possibilities of financing an investment project of a small enterprise through the “Technologies for Local Action Groups (CLLD) – Call I” and to design a model project proposal that complies with the conditions of this programme. The theoretical part defines the fundamental principles of business support within the European Union and the Czech Republic, including cohesion policy and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the economy. It also addresses project and grant management, particularly the life cycle of grant-funded projects and the specifics of projects co-financed by EU funds. The analytical part focuses on community-led local development (CLLD) and the role of local action groups in implementing business support. It also includes an analysis of the “Technologies for LAGs (CLLD)” call, its conditions, supported activities and eligible expenditures. The practical part presents a specific project proposal for a business entity aimed at modernizing technological equipment and digitalizing processes through cloud-based solutions and related technologies. The project is prepared in accordance with programme requirements, including a timetable, budget, risk analysis and evaluation of expected benefits. The thesis results in a comprehensive assessment of the applicability of grant support for small enterprises and proposes a project solution that enhances competitiveness and supports technological development in line with the objectives of OP TAC.
