Abstract
Image segmentation is a computer vision technique that serves to divide an image into sub-parts. These parts can then be further analyzed. One of the possibilities of image segmentation is segmentation based on the measurement of distance between individual pixels. Based on the measured distance, it is possible to determine whether the pixels belong to the same segment. The aim of this thesis is to implement a~segmentation method based on distance measuring, to test different types of distances and to compare their results.
