Využití židovských památek v cestovním ruchu nacházejících se na území České republiky

Abstract

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the use of the Jewish monuments in the Czech Republic in tourism. Its mission is to bring the most important and best known Jewish monuments of this country and also mention their past and current use. The results of this study show that the present Jewish monuments in the Czech Republic mainly used for cultural purposes, ie. for exhibitions, expositions, concerts, etc.. This is not the rule. The theoretical part focuses on the most famous and the most visited Jewish sites in the country. There are presented information about Judaism as such and of course the various Jewish sites surveyed. The practical part of this thesis focuses on Prague's Jewish Town, its applicability in attendance and tourism. Finally I can say that Prague's Jewish quarter is one of the most popular sights at all, both Czech and foreign tourists.
