Urbanisticko - architektonická studie lokality u vodní plochy v obci Námestovo

Abstract

The main task of the diploma thesis is a comprehensive elaboration of an urban - architectural design in which it is included use of space for recreation, sports, housing and civic amenities, all based on the currently valid Spatial Plan. The content of the work is the spatial solution of unused land, transforming it to a public space with a transport and infrastructure connection. This large area around the Námestovo’s waterfront and the adjacent Orava dam, is bounded on the north by a road and on the east by unkept bushes and a forest. Selected details of atypical constructions are added to the thesis. We provided two variants with detailed solutions to the selected variant. The approximated cost offer of the design and the visualization of the area are included. The result is the solution to the use of the selected area respecting the limits, possible threats, town and its inhabitants needs as well as the existing state of the location and its surroundings, based of collected knowledge about the area.
