Abstract
This thesis treats of an overview of used soil microorganisms involved in process of decomposition biological degradable waste. In the first part there is described development of composting and microorganisms which naturally affect the soil. These microorganisms could be also found in compost. Subsequently an overview of the valid legal enactment connected with composting issue. Next part is focused on conditions required for starting and optimal progression of composting process. In the next part there is an overview of bacteria and fungi according to substrate, phase they are responsible for and finally in accordance with taxonomy comprehensive of specification genus and species. In the end there are placed selected applied or tested compost maturity and stability test methods.
