Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the automated conversion of narrative descriptions of movement into a spatial representation suitable for visualization in the form of a sketch map. The aim is to design, implement, and test a procedure that enables the extraction of key information about the movement trajectory from formally processed sentences. The result of the thesis is a precisely defined output data structure that allows the automatic generation of spatially meaningful visualizations of movement in the form of a sketch map.
