Studie odolnosti předních dveří osobního automobilu proti průniku střely ráže 9 mm Luger

Abstract

This thesis is focused on an experimental evaluation of the resistance of the front doors of the passenger cars of various brands against the penetration of a 9 mm Luger projectile fired from a short firearm at different angles. The first part of the work contains legal regulations related to work and specific cases where the vehicle was stopped by firing. It continues with the basic theory of ballistics, the effects of a projectile on a target and the measurement of projectile velocities. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part. It further describes the materials, weapons and ammunition that were used for the experiment. The durability of the car doors was experimentally verified at the shooting range.
