Abstract

This thesis deals withth the earea sofwaste management in prisons in the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany, particularly in Bavaria. First, the thesis compares the two prison systems, the organization als tructure and the Prison Service. It also describes the development of waste management in the Prison Service. The following are specificcases of Bavarian and Czech prisons.
