Ochrana duševního vlastnictví při dovozu zboží do EU

Abstract

At present time, we live in the period of continual scientific technical development, which brings continual increase of piracy and forgery. Because the Czech Republic is the member of the EU and they both practice common trade policy, the topic of this diploma thesis is Intellectual Property Protection of Importing Goods into EU. The aim of the thesis is to analyze legal protection of intellectual property when importing the goods; fundamental part of the thesis is devoted to TRIPS Agreement and regulation No. 608/2013 concerning customs enforcement of intellectual property rights. Further aim is to draw conclusion whether those rights are protected adequately and whether work of customs is effective enough.
