Abstract

The subject of the doctoral thesis is an economic analysis Management of municipal waste in Brno and Ostrava. The main aim of the thesis is a proposal to streamline waste management in Ostrava and Brno, based on research consisting of a partial analysis, comparisons, and induction. To meet the main objectives of the work is specified by supportive goals. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part are placed basis of selected issues in the context of current legislation and terminology and theoretical solutions in the searching area. The theoretical part also explains research methods used in the practical part. Part of the work is also to analyze the current state Management of municipal waste in the researched cities. In the practical part is performed research, consisting of a partial analysis, comparisons, and induction. Result of this work is to summarize acquired knowledge and to give proposal to streamline waste management in Ostrava and Brno.
