Abstract
This thesis approaches the issue of electrochemical corrosion by stray currents. It describes the principle of electrochemical corrosion and analyses the causes, consequences, prevention and protection against the electrochemical corrosion.
The practical part is focused on measurements of the potentials, stray currents, insulation resistance on the ČD, RWE, ŠPVS devices and the other objects which are at risk of electrochemical corrosion.
