Miroslav Rosmanit, Ph.D. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a numerical model of a truss footbridge, which is situated in Dolni Lomna, by the SCIA Engineer software. This thesis describes problems of steel footbridges. The assesment of the main supporting structures and joints is accomplised by the hand calculation. Also the functionality of the numerical model is verified the same way. In the next step the major supporting elements are assesed by the current ČSN EN standards. The basic drawing documentation of this footbridge and also production documentation of the truss girder is the part of this thesis.
