Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the Web site of the Faculty of Economics VŠB - TU Ostrava. The aim is to analyze the web of the faculty in terms of content and determine participants' views of marketing research, whether the websites meet the needs of their users.
The work includes four main parts. The first part briefly describes the market of Czech Universities and follows a detailed characterization of the Faculty of Economics, its history, marketing mix and visions.
The second part contains all the documents, which are necessary for the understanding of individual issues on which the work is focused. They describe theoretical basis of the services, marketing mix in services, websites and marketing research.
The third section summarizes the methodology, which was used to implement a marketing research group interview. In this part the aim of the research is defined, also sample selection, method of collecting and organizing data and technical processing. In the group interview, respondents completed a test application comprised of five tasks.
The fourth part deals with data analysis and subsequent proposals to the website. In the evaluation of data are used tables and graphs that analyze in detail the thematic areas of group interview. Subsequently, recommendations were put forward, which are based on the aforementioned analysis. Suggestions and recommendations lead to a deepening of personalization EKF website.
