Abstract

The master thesis is focused on security threats in railway transport. Parses the issue of transfer hazardous materials, safety system and classification of substances according to RID. There is a description of valid legislative requirements in the issue of transfer of hazardous materials. The second part describes the safety documentation and the functioning of the main involved in rail transport. The key part is the proposed method assessing the risks and possible occurrences of extraordinary event in railway transport and in their stations. The penultimate chapter deals with the assessment of the findings and suggestions for improvement that can reduce possible negative impacts. At the end of the work is updated the internal emergency plan for the train station of one of the selected stations according to applicable legislation.
