The first part of this diploma thesis deals with the division, advantages and disadvantages of particular brands and types of respiratory protective equipmen used by firefighters in Czech Republic. The second part deals with factors influencing air consuption and particular time length, division of these factors and the seting of their measuring efficiency factor. This thessis deepens the knowledge about respiratory protective equipmen and factors influencing air consuption and protection time.
