Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to analyse the level of intellectual capital and to assess its importance for the development of Kindergarten XY. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. It is further divided into 7 main chapters including introduction and conclusion. It deals with the topic of intellectual capital, its different components, methods of measurement and possible obstacles to its development. The issues of this thesis are investigated using the interview method with written questionnaire survey technique, the interview method with semi-structured interview technique and mind map. The research and analysis show that the state of the overall intellectual capital of teachers in Kindergarten XY is at a good level and the teachers strive for its continuous development. The thesis also includes proposed recommendations and measures to increase the effectiveness of intellectual capital use and its further development.
