Humanitární pomoc EU v Africe

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is dealt with the EU's humanitarian aid in Africa. In the beginning is defined the issue of humanitarian aid in general, are characterized selected global issues and legislation of humanitarian aid in international law. Further attention is paid to the role of international institutions and organizations in humanitarian assistance in this thesis and also the thesis is focused on humanitarian assistance of the EU and its partners. In the fourth chapter of the thesis is dealt with the evaluation of the effectiveness of EU humanitarian aid in selected countries in Africa, while it is more closely focused on the evaluation of the effectiveness of assistance provided by the Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection in Somalia and Ethiopia.
