Minerálogicke štúdium silicitov menilitového súvrstvia českej časti západných Karpát

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the mineralogical study of silicites of the menilite group of the Czech part of the Western Carpathians. In the theoretical part, the inclusion of the menilithic strata into the geological conditions in the Czech part of the Western Carpathians, the historical sites in Moravia and Silesia, as well as the division of quartz into quartz forms and the opal species mentioned in the whole diploma thesis. The practical part deals with more detailed laboratory research on sample processing and gradual evaluation in the form of graphs. The aim of this work is to collect as many samples as possible and process mineralogical study using available methods and techniques.
