Abstract

The name of the thesis is Competition Analysis of the Glasses Shop. The main aim of this work is to analyze the competitive position of Optics Lens, compared to competitors operating in the field of ophthalmic optics in the city of Ostrava and Hlučín. Another aim is to determine the willingness of staff and customer behaviour and to what extent optics use e-mail in communication with their customers. Analysis of competition will be based on primary and secondary data. Primary data will be evaluated using the methods of marketing research Mystery Shopping, and also with variations of this method Mystery Emailing. Secondary data were obtained from available literature and Internet sources. From this data appropriate recommendations for improvements that could help to increase the level of services in this field will be proposed. I believe that this bachelor thesis will contribute to Lens Optics and the proposed recommendations will lead to increase competitiveness of Optic on the market of optics.
