Abstract

The subject of the thesis is Proposal of the Effective Inventory Management. The thesis is focused on the plant Halla Visteon Climate Control Ltd. based in Nový Jičín. The first part focuses on the theoretical and methodological bases of management of stocks with the issues related. The following is a summary of the basic methods and procedures that were applied to work together with a brief description of their course. The application section begins by identifying the characteristics of a factory HVCC, which builds a representation of the current inventory management system in the company along with the depiction of work in a corporate QAD system. The content of the application is the analysis of stocks, which builds further analysis, Obsolete Inventory, Overship Supplier and selected Top 50 items with the largest proportion of stocks in pieces. Finally there are suggestions for solutions that are derived from the above analysis. The work ends with quantifying the financial benefits.
