Abstract

The thesis in the form of individual professional practice in the company capitalizes knowledge gained during studying professional subjects. Provider of practise, the company Argutec s.r.o., has allowed me to work as part of a standard process to implement a software solution with regard to the studied branch. The task was to develop a mobile chat application using the Xamarin framework with C# programming language and communication protocol XMPP. The theoretical part will focus on the description of used technologies, and the process of selecting funds that were also recommended by the company. It will be described development and features of solution. The outcome will be proof-of-concept of chat mobile application for devices running Android OS.
