Abstract
This graduation thesis is aimed at provenance and genesis of Iron Oxides in sediments from selected sites of the northern part of the Moravian Karst. Methods used for the research were separation of heavy minerals (bromoform), X-ray diffraction and electron microprobe. The analysis used and subsequent data processing point to provenance Iron Oxides in different age and geographical position. Especially in terra ross, the origin and genesis are unclear.
