Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the employee remuneration and motivation system in a selected company operating in the insurance and financial services sector and based on the findings, to propose recommendations for improving the current setup.
The thesis is divided into seven chapters, including the introduction and conclusion. The second chapter presents the methods and methodology used in the thesis, specifically the questionnaire survey and structured interview. The third chapter describes the theoretical background of human resource management, employee remuneration and motivation, including motivational theories and employee performance evaluation systems.
The fourth chapter characterizes the selected company and its organizational structure. The fifth chapter focuses on the analysis of the remuneration and motivation system based on data obtained from the questionnaire and interview. In the final part of the thesis, specific recommendations are formulated with the aim of increasing job satisfaction, employee motivation, and the overall effectiveness of the human resource management system.
