Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to create an architectural study of a territory under the Emauzy abbey in Prague, New Town. The territory leans on the northern side to the monastery and in the south boards with Trojická street, lined with tree alley. West boarder creates Pod Slovany street, meanwhile on east is limited by existing development. The main goal of this thesis is to design new development in the territory and create comfortable environment, which will be used as education centre and also will be appropriate for free time activities. Part of the design will be new public spaces, which will contribute to refresh and improve the quality of life in this area.
