Abstract

This bachelor thesis analyzes the situation and the development of the labor market in the district Nový Jičín. The aim of the thesis is to find out the situation and development of unemployment in the labor market, evaluation of active employment policy programs and their real application to job seekers in the district Nový Jičín. The thesis compares the various instruments of active employment policy and their use in the district of Nový Jičín. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic terms such as labor and labor market. Furthermore, defnes what unemployment is and what are its forms. The thesis focuses on the role of the state in the labor market and the possibilities of reducing unemployment through an appropriate employment policy. The practical part of the thesis analyzes the structure of unemployment by age, education, gender, persons with disabilities. The evaluation analyzes the various instruments of the active employment policy. The conclusion of this thesis compares the results of analyzes of the unemployment structure and APZ programs. In the end of the thesis is the assessment of the situation and development of the trends in the labor market in Nový Jičín.
