Abstract

The master thesis is focused on implementing a geographic information system for the Třinecké železárny fire brigade needs. The theoretic part of the thesis is dedicated to explain the idea of geographic information system its implementation and its importance for selected emergency services. The thesis continues by the process of implementation of this system in Třinecké železárny. In the third part we take into consideration the settings of tasks the system should execute with the aim to support the decisions of fire brigade unit in Třinecké železárny during exceptional incidents. In the last part we show the GIS configuration for Třinecké železárny needs and we analyse the requirements acquired.
