Abstract

The object of this work is to evaluate the maintenance organization and analysis of maintenance management system in the company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. The main objective of this thesis is to draft recommendations for improvement of this system. The theoretical part describes the general metallurgical enterprise in all its complexity. There are elucidated possible maintenance management systems and factors that influence life and functional capacity of the production facilities. The practical part describes the current status of maintenance management system in the company itself ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s , its individual races, units, individual maintenance facilities and their activities. The following is an overall assessment of the current state of alignment, weaknesses in the management process and suggestions for improvement.
