Abstract

This final thesis describes the design and setting of electrical protection for transformer station TS 73. The first part, which deals with a theoretical analysis of safeguards and protection and sorting of protections, summarizes the requirements for protection and explains the basic protection members. The second part deals with the theoretical analysis of short-circuit currents, describes various types of short-circuits and theoretical analysis of the calculation of short-circuit currents. The third part describes the current status of protection of transformer station TSN 73. The fourth section describes the parameters of the new transformer station TS 73 and describes the new protection that will be used to protect connected equipment. In the fifth section, there are calculations for protection settings of transformer station TS 73. The conclusion consists of evaluation of the transformer station TS 73 protection.
