Abstract

IBC containers, also known as IBC containers, are reusable transport containers used in many industries from the food industry to the chemical industry. IBC containers are made of HDPE, stainless steel or carbon steel. The management of used IBC containers is important for several reasons. Reusing IBC containers means that the container is cleaned of the products that were in it, can be repaired and put back into operation. This process contributes to the protection of environmental components and to compliance with the criteria of the circular economy. At the end of its service life, the IBC container is disposed of by recycling the materials from which it is made. Recycling and reusing these materials again contributes to the protection of environmental components, saves primary resources and reduces the amount of waste sent to landfill.
