Regionální a strukturální politika EU a konkrétní příklad čerpání Evropského fondu regionálního rozvoje

Abstract

The aim of this diploma work is to introduce one of the most important European policy, so-called the regional and structural policy. In the first part there is explained the beginning and development of the regional policy in the period 1951-2006, its principles and aims of the regional and structural policy of the European union in the period 1994-2013. In the next part there are an analysis of the structure of funds and institutions, which finance the regional and structural policy, and a system analysis of possibilities of using the financial resources from the European funds for the region. The last part analyzes the concrete example of using the financial resources from the European funds of regional development connected with the town Zatec. In Zatec there is a project, which is focused on the revival of the historical town core, the support of developmnet of modern business elements focused on national and foreign tourism, the improvement of conditions for small and middle business in the area of infrastructure of touristic services and the increasing of the number of visitors in the whole region of the Zatec's hop area, which is nicknamed „The Temple of Hop and Beer “.
