Vliv práce z domova na motivaci technicko-hospodářských pracovníků v okrese Nový Jičín

Abstract

This master’s thesis focuses on analysing the impact of remote work on the motivation of engineering and economics workers in the Nový Jičín district. The aim of the thesis is to identify key factors influencing employee motivation when working from home, as well as the main barriers and differences in motivation between office-based and home-based work environments. The theoretical part addresses remote work from the perspective of its history, forms, legal framework, advantages and disadvantages. It also deals with issues of work-life balance, digital hygiene, and employee motivation, including motivational theories and tools. The practical part presents the characteristics of the Nový Jičín district and provides a subsequent analysis of the results of a questionnaire survey, supplemented by the main findings from semi-structured interviews with selected respondents. Based on the results, proposals have been formulated that may contribute to increasing the motivation of employees working from home in the Nový Jičín district.
