Abstract

The theme of this diploma thesis is to explore the possibility of using clustering algorithms to improve the compression of text documents. In the theoretical part, I deal with clustering technologies and their methods or with compression algorithms used in data compression. In the second practical part I describe how I progressed in creating an application. The last part contains test results and their evaluation.
