Abstract

The Diploma Thesis focuses on The Process of Optimization in the ČEZ, ZS, s.r.o. company, where I have been participating in an eighteen-month training course. The main purpose was to find out what the reason for amended invoice is, and, if it is possible to reduce the main causes of amended invoice, and how. I also focused on what amount of money would be saved by implementing the Kaizen method and whether it will lead to the better quality of the services. Next, I tried to figure out, if it would be possible to implement the Kaizen method in the particular period of time and how, or what is needed to be done to implement it in the shortest period of time. The Causes of amended invoices were accomplished and consequently I could evaluate the main causes according to the Paret`s method. It was inevitable to detect the information about the company culture, judge whether it was strong enough and whether Employees were loyal. Having considered the results achieved, I ment to show the possible ways of improving the process and the culture of the company, to show the Kaizen method, and what should be the next steps to be done to put it into operation succesfully in the shortest period of time. I suggested to implement the Kaizen method in the long term, because the company culture is just not ready for the implementation now. I had all the information from the ČEZ, ZS, s.r.o. employees and their supervisors. I gathered the information needed to understand the company culture from the company workers and my experience gained during my training course in this company. Thanks to this Diploma Thesis I found out that the company should work on the improvement of the company culture and should improve employee’s loyalty to the company. Another problem I found is that the company is not able to implement The Kaizen method. First the company must develop the company culture, than it might be able to implement The Kaizen. I also discovered the main culprits who cause the problem with the amended invoice. Considering this problem, I suggested the company some possible arrangements which should lead to avoid this problems in the future. The implementation itself depends on the company. This Thesis should show the company many ways of how to improve apprehension by employees, and help it to implement the Kaizen method in process in the shortest period of time possible. It should also reveal the problems connected with invoices and, as well, reveal the causes of the occurrence of the amended invoices. Finally, this Thesis should suggest possible ways that would lead to achieving company’s main goal - successful company with satisfied employees.
