Lesní požáry a jejich vliv na životní prostředí

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with forest fires and their impact on the environment. In the first part the forest fires, their distribution and the overview of selected forest fires from the past are analysed. The next chapter describes the harmful substances that occur during forest fires and their impact on the environment. Subsequently, the properties of selected domestic wood species, which are further processed in laboratory conditions, are described. The experimental part is focused on fire simulation of 4 wood samples, where fire water obtained is next tested to a semi-chronic toxicity using white mustard as a medium. In conclusion, the results are compared with samples of tropical woods.
