Abstract

Jan Petrů, Ph.D. The topic of this thesis is the analysis of point defects, i.e. security inspection of the streets of Československé armády, Husova, Lidická and 28. října. Furthermore, the security audit of a reconstructed roundabout of Československé armády and Lidická streets has been conducted. The security inspection and audit are based on a personal inspection of the aforementioned sites and a subsequent evaluation of unsatisfactory sections found, for which suitable measures leading to eliminate the safety flaws are suggested. Although there is an analysis of traffic accidents attached to the thesis, it is only supplementary information to the territory and not the basis for inspection. The result of the analysis of point defects is the evaluation of the gravity of potential risk and financial demands conducive to the safety flaws removal. A total of 33 non-compliant security inspection sections and 4 non-compliant security audit sections were found in the area under consideration, which were evaluated according to the severity of the risk and the financial complexity of the solution.
