Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of a heating and domestic hot water system for a two-storey, non-basement detached house located in the municipality of Chuchelná. The heating system is designed as a combination of low-temperature underfloor heating and wall-mounted radiators. The primary heat source is a ground–water heat pump with a deep borehole, supplemented by a fireplace insert with a water heat exchanger serving as a bivalent source. The entire system is hydraulically connected to a combined accumulation tank with an integrated hot water storage cylinder and is controlled by a central regulation system. The thesis includes both the structural documentation of the building and the technical design of the heating and DHW systems. The outputs comprise a cover report, comprehensive technical report, site plan, and architectural drawings including floor plans, sections, and elevations, all prepared in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Further outputs include technical building services documentation featuring calculations of thermal properties of the building envelope, heat loss calculation, thermal bridge detail analysis, energy balance of the building, building envelope energy label, and the energy performance certificate. The documentation also contains the design and calculation of the underfloor heating and radiator systems with their respective heat sources, the hot water demand calculation, and hot water preparation method. The technical part concludes with source evaluation, borehole design, and schematic and floor plan drawings of the building services. All results are prepared in compliance with current legislation, relevant standards, and Czech Decree No. 131/2024 Coll.
