Abstract

The master thesis is focused on problematics of sharing economy. The aim of the thesis is to identify basic characteristics and differences of sharing economy focusing on financial market and to introduce the main representative of sharing economy and compare it to the chosen representatives of the current market. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part, whereas in theoretical part is the shared economics firstly defined using specialized literature and another resources. Then are described the individual sectors, where the sharing economy occurs. To reach the aim of the thesis, in the practical part was applied a case study focusing on comparing the offer of consumer credit for individuals from the main representative of the sharing economy with a selected banking and non-banking company. Based on the results of the case study, recommendations for improvement are proposed to the main representative of the sharing economy.
