Hodnocení zbytkového austenitu v cementovaných ocelích

Abstract

This thesis deals with the evaluation of retained austenite in steels 14 220 and 14 221 which were carburized and subsequent heat treatmented. Content of retained austenite in the carburizing layer is determined metallographically by using the image analysis, the EBSD analysis and the X-ray diffraction. The theoretical part is focused on the thermal treatment of steels, especially carburizing, the description of martensitic transformation and retained austenite and a description of particular methods. The experimental part describes the preparation of samples, descriptions of procedures for obtaining results by using the methods X-ray diffraction, the EBSD and the image analysis and interpretation of reached results. The work is focused on comparing of used methods of determination the proportion of retained austenite.
