Abstract
The thesis deals with renewable energy sources, especially biomass and its use in the conditions of the Czech Republic. At the same time, State aid will be mentioned and various incentive programmes for the use of renewable energy sources, in particular biomass, and while the comparison in economic terms, the use of various types of fuel for the heating of the family house.
