Abstract

HÖNIG, M. Safety study of risks in the use of explosives in the stone quarry, Bachelor thesis: Ostrava, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2015. The supervisor of the bachelors thesis: Ing. Stanislav Lichorobiec Ph.D. The bachelors thesis deals with safety of blasting in quarries. In the theoretical part are mentioned laws dealing with this issue. The following is briefly described the process of blasting works in quarry blasting aperture and use of explosives and elements of ignition system. The practical part is devoted to the safety study, are identified risks associated with blasting. In conclusion, measures are proposed to reduce the level of identified risks.
