Abstract
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate employment policy instruments aimed at supporting the employment of persons with disabilities in companies of selected countries of the European Union, and to formulate proposals and recommendations in relation to companie´s managers and economic policy makers. In order to fulfill the set aim of the thesis, methods of comparison and semi-structured interviews with managers of companies that employ workers with disabilities are used. It shows that the typology of employment policy instruments is similar in the compared countries, and that they differ mainly in specific parameters. On the basis of professional literature, results of some empirical studies, a comparison of employment policy instruments and findings from semi-structured interviews with managers, proposals and recommendations were formulated for economic policymakers and company management.
