Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with tourism for seniors, which belong into segment of the tourism market. The aim of this thesis is definition of concept of tourism for seniors including its segments and distinctive features, also to overview of the propagation this form of tourism and finally to analyze tourism for seniors from the view of the seniors in the Czech republic. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical part describes tourism in general, also deals with issue of tourism for seniors together with the segments and the typical features. The practical part is focused on analysis of tourism for seniors in Czech Republic and describes programs and projects this form of tourism. The analysis is performed through the use of questionnaire that deals with traveling of seniors, their profile, conditions and needs. Based on the evaluated results are devise appropriate measures for more effective development this specific form of tourism.
